1. What does “made to order” mean?

All May Mia pieces are made to order, meaning your jewelry is handcrafted after your order has been placed. This helps avoid overproduction and ensures each item is made especially for you.

2. Will my jewelry look exactly like the pictures?

All May Mia pieces are handmade using natural materials. Due to the unique character of the pearls and other materials used, slight variations may occur. These make each piece truly one of a kind.

3. How do I take care of my jewelry?

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry, we recommend:

  • Storing it in a dry place

  • Keeping it in the protective pouch provided

  • Avoiding contact with perfume, lotions, hairspray, and other chemicals

  • Removing jewelry before exercising, showering, or sleeping

  • Cleaning it regularly with a soft, dry cloth

4. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within Germany and EU countries.

5. How long does shipping take?

Please note that all items are made to order and require a production time of 5–7 business days before shipping.

  • Germany: 1–3 business days via Deutsche Post or DHL

  • EU countries: 5–7 business days via DHL

6. What are the shipping costs within Germany?

  • Untracked standard shipping (Deutsche Post): €3.00 — 2–4 business days
    → Free shipping for orders over €50

  • Tracked and insured shipping: €4.90
    → Free shipping for orders over €100

7. What are the shipping costs to EU countries?

  • DHL shipping: €13.99 — 5–7 business days
    Currently, no free shipping threshold is offered for EU orders.

8. What happens if my order can’t be delivered?

If your package cannot be delivered and is returned to us, you are responsible for the return shipping and original delivery costs. May Mia is not liable for orders that are marked as delivered or for unsuccessful delivery attempts.

9. How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, please email info@may-mia.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Once approved, you may return the item.
Note: Personalized items are excluded from returns.

10. Do I need to pay for return shipping?

Yes, return shipping costs are currently not covered by May Mia.

11. What if my jewelry arrives damaged or breaks later on?

If an item arrives damaged or breaks over time, please contact us via email at info@may-mia.com and include a photo of the piece. We will assess the issue and get back to you with possible repair options.
